The UK claimed leadership as a Digitally Advanced Country for Digital Service Consumption

Even the remotest areas of the world currently use some sort of digital services. Even eCommerce platforms provide additional assistance. In the European Union, it's pretty different. A survey done amongst 20,000 Europeans on digital service consumption revealed exciting data. According to a McKinsey survey, British people are ahead of anyone on the list. At least 86% of Brits used digital products or services in the last six months.

In the last six months, around seven million people accessed various online services. These services include eCommerce websites, maintenance, business communication, remote work, etc. Most traffic we've seen through the education services and grocery. They are some of the basic human needs. The report made by McKinsey says France is a little behind the UK in the digitally advanced country listings. It was 82% for them while Germany in 65%. India is a little ahead on the global scale as the population is larger (88%). Brazil, leading the chart with 97% digital advancement. While the numbers seem promising, online-based services come as basic needs.

The report established a point where they are estimating around 43 million digital users by this year. Managing partners led the rise of digital challenges report, individuals and consultants at the same time to make a report for establishing the current growth engine of central and eastern Europe.

In CEE countries, the market is open for high-level digitalisation. Sharing best practices accelerates digitalisation, and according to the report, it represents a €1.4 trillion in GDP growth. The economy evolved and made it to the 12th largest of the world's economy.

With pandemic on the horizon and adapt to changes, more people are continuously trying to go for new "soft skills". "Strongest growth in demand will be for technological skills, which constitute the smallest skill category today in terms of hours worked."

For digital growth, it is expected to extract information. With the post-pandemic situation taken into the conscious mind, we have to suggest and utilise newer ways to find services that we usually take. Without being compromised of quality, we have to find the most suitable solutions. The report said that around 44% of UK people around 35-44 years don't fully trust digital security. We guess the overall digital service number acquisition would go higher if that were not the case.

Sharing Best Practices

Single digital challengers doesn't stand a chance against all the enablers. It's the sole reason sharing makes advancement in this field. Even in IT, we see open-source programs and codes that enable other developers to work on the same basic principle and develop further.

Allowing healthy practice makes sense for people within the same skill group, and it also encourages regional coordination. The McKinsey report, however, prioritises CEE SMEs and Midcaps for digital technological transformation. The scale goes for accessing global markets.

Continental has more than 200,000 employees in more than 56 countries. They are a global leader in the automotive supply chain. According to the company, enormous data is used for making decisions. But due to a gap in data technologies, the volume wasn't measuring up. That's why they needed to connect with companies that specialise in similar interest. They took help from IT and non-IT colleagues to collect those data. Purchase history, logistics, extensive data analysis helped each other in need so the companies could perform freely and individually as usual.

As companies and businesses kept strong with each other's help, they thrived more than statics. In a developed country like the UK benefited from it vastly. Individuals gained excellent service at even pandemic times. The result talks for itself as the UK became a leader in the European "most digitally advanced country."
