Atera Integrates with Eset to give customers more security options

Remote monitoring and management software developer has partnered with Eset to enable MSPs better secure their customers. Atera users can now deploy and manage Eset products from inside the Atera platform.

“As cyberattacks increase in sophistication and frequency, it is important that we partner with cybersecurity leaders like ESET to offer proactive protection against the toughest malware, and arm customers against zero-day threats,” Atera CEO Gil Pekelman said in a media statement.

Pekelman feels Eset has the right infrastructure and technology to combat modern-day threats which makes them the perfect partner.

“ESET’s multi-layered approach to threat detection as well as response, including threat intelligence feeds, endpoint detection and response and advanced cloud sandboxing, helps our partners minimise their attack surface and address the growing threat landscape. The resulting integrated offering represents a tremendous opportunity for Atera and its global customer base,” the CEO said.

With this integration, customers on the Atera platform can tasks such as license management, reporting, and customer site administration capabilities.

There are four packages for customers to choose from. ESET PROTECT Entry is the most basic plan and provides Endpoint protection and File server security. As you go up the tiers - ESET PROTECT Advanced, ESET PROTECT Compete, and ESET PROTECT Enterprise - you get additional features which include full disk encryption, cloud sandbox, mail security, and cloud app protection.

“We’ve been impressed with Atera’s growth trajectory and are pleased to partner with them to support the needs of IT professionals across the globe,” ESET’s vice president of sales for North America, Ryan Grant said. “Atera’s development team has worked tirelessly to ensure a best-in-class integration that enhances the customer experience for IT professionals by reducing complexity and providing proactive threat detection and response. We are committed to growing together, serving our customers and expanding the integration over time.”

Atera has been working to improve its solution through multiple integrations. Just last month the company announced that it would collaborate with OpenAI TO help technicians generate scripts more rapidly by leveraging ChatGPT.
