D&H unveils New Managed Support Services and starts offering Lenovo ISG Data Center Solutions

D&H Distributing, through its THREAD Technology Conference, has announced the launch of new subscription-based Managed Support Services (MSS) and the addition of Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) data center solutions to its portfolio. The conference occurred on June 14 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pa.

The new MSS offerings comprise a range of services, including:

  • Help desk as-a-service

  • Security operations center (SOC) data center services

  • Remote monitoring and management (RMM)

  • Patching

  • Network operations center services (NOC)

  • Backup and disaster recovery (BDR)

The MSS portfolio is part of its expanding lineup of professional services provided through its Modern Solutions Business Unit, which was introduced in 2022. The services are sold as subscription-based offerings through the D&H cloud marketplace, simplifying the purchasing process, subscription management, and invoicing.

Partners can choose to manage these services themselves or have D&H or the end-user company handle them. The services are available on a monthly subscription basis without any annual commitment required.

D&H also offers a shared services model where the company manages a portion of the partner's customer base and leaves the rest to the partner.

D&H aims to train its account representatives to identify opportunities where MSPs and VARs can incorporate more profitable and high-margin services into existing and new business projects. The account representatives can then offer customised service offerings tailored to the partner's specific requirements based on their level of maturity in managed services.

Regarding the expanded partnership with Lenovo, D&H is enthusiastic about including Lenovo's ISG data centre solutions in its Modern Solutions offering.

This collaboration allows D&H to support the Lenovo 360 Global Channel Framework, providing channel partners with enhanced access to Lenovo's infrastructure, devices, services, and solutions. Lenovo offers incentives to partners who sell a complete, all-Lenovo solution, which combines computing devices with services like cloud data storage.

The ISG product line will be managed within D&H's Modern Solutions organisation as more data center businesses transition to a hybrid model. By consolidating these offerings under one team, D&H can work with partners to design and deliver customised Lenovo-powered solutions, whether on-premises, as a service, or as a hybrid cloud.

In addition to these announcements, D&H recently appointed Anthony Graziano, a channel and distribution marketing veteran, as the Senior Vice President of Marketing. Graziano brings extensive experience from his previous role as Logitech's worldwide head of channel marketing.
