Gatewatcher actively pursuing UK channel partners as it eyes the UK market

After having one of its best-ever years, Gatewatcher still has its foot on the accelerator and is aiming for an even bigger 2023. At the start of the year, the French cybersecurity company announced that it had registered a record 45% turnover increase compared to the previous year. Now, the company says its goal for the new year is to recruit more UK channel partners as it looks to grow its presence in the country and achieve a further 20-30% increase in growth.

The move is part of the company’s commitment to a 100% indirect distribution strategy that will be powered by global partners, added-value collaboration leads, cyber security solution integrators, as well as businesses that offer security operations center (SOC) as a service.

“Our commitment to a 100% indirect strategy in the UK, necessitates that we combine local presence with access to all that we can offer,” said Adrian Jones, country manager for UK and Ireland at Gatewatcher.

The Gatewatcher Partner Programme has been divided into 4 levels. At the bottom, we have the Authorized level where partners will have access to customised support.

Next is the Silver level where partners will benefit from commercial and technical experts. Above that, there is the Gold level where partners will have access to marketing support on top of the other benefits.

The fourth tier is MSSP which Gatewatcher says has been created for partners that offer managed SOC to customers.

Gatewatcher is a security firm specialising in advanced intrusion detection through solutions that leverage automation and machine learning.

The company was founded in 2015 and has its headquarters in Paris. Currently, it has over 100 employees across their international offices including France and the UK.

The company has been enjoying steady growth mainly thanks to a shortage of cyber skills even as threats continue to increase. As a result, more businesses are outsourcing their security to protect their infrastructure.

“Our competitive pricing and modular architecture enables partners to offer a managed security service to address this growing need in the market,” Jones said.
