GitGuardian, the leader in non-human identity (NHI) and secrets security, has officially launched its dedicated Channel Partner Program aimed at accelerating the adoption of its security platform globally.

The program targets Value-Added Resellers (VARs), solution providers, and Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) to help enterprises combat the rapidly expanding threat of exposed credentials and API keys.
The move acknowledges that the explosion of automation, cloud adoption, and AI workflows has created a critical security gap where non-human identities, which now far outnumber human employees, have become the primary target for attackers.
The NHI crisis and the need for partners
Non-human identities are the digital credentials (API keys, tokens, service accounts) that applications and automated systems use to access resources. GitGuardian's research shows that the problem of "secrets sprawl", the widespread exposure of credentials in codebases and logs, is escalating, driving the need for scalable managed services.
Target audience
The program is specifically designed to enable partners to build profitable, ongoing service practices around secrets detection and remediation, a process that often requires initial cleanup efforts (historical scanning) followed by continuous monitoring.
The core problem partners will address is the persistent risk that 70% of leaked secrets remain active for more than two years, turning them into long-term attack vectors for lateral movement.
End-to-end platform
The GitGuardian platform offers an end-to-end solution for NHI security, covering secrets detection across source code, CI/CD pipelines, and runtime environments. All this while moving toward comprehensive governance of the entire machine identity lifecycle.
Partner-centric program mechanics
GitGuardian designed the program with a "channel-first" philosophy to eliminate competition and incentivize collaboration with partners:
Compensation neutrality: GitGuardian's internal sales representatives earn the same commission on partner-led deals as on direct sales, ensuring true collaboration and avoiding internal competition.
Deal protection: The program offers robust deal registration, financial incentives, and renewal incumbency rights, giving partners confidence to invest in and build out their security practices.
Enablement and support: Partners gain access to technical training, co-brandable marketing collateral, Marketing Development Funds (MDF) for lead generation, and dedicated sales support.
"As secrets security becomes mission-critical for every enterprise undergoing digital transformation, our channel partners play a critical role in supporting detection and response at scale," said Alex Rich, VP of Sales & Channel, US at GitGuardian.
