ManageEngine launches MSP Central: A unified platform for all MSP functions

ManageEngine, a leading provider of enterprise IT management solutions, last week announced the global launch of MSP Central. This new unified platform is designed to help Managed Service Providers (MSPs) consolidate and streamline critical functions, including service delivery, device management, threat protection, and infrastructure monitoring, all from a single interface.

The launch of MSP Central directly addresses the pervasive challenge of tool fragmentation faced by MSPs. And as the global managed services market is projected to reach $511 billion by 2029, MSPs are under increasing pressure to scale operations and maintain high service quality.

Many have struggled with technicians juggling multiple consoles and disparate tools to resolve client incidents, leading to inefficiencies and increased operational complexity.

"We had technicians switching between multiple consoles just to resolve a single client incident—a real drag on time and ticket volume," said Edgar Martínez, business manager at EvolutionIT, an early adopter of MSP Central. "We were looking for a tool that could bring together everything our team needs without adding complexity or locking us into a rigid stack."

MSP Central aims to eliminate this "tool sprawl" by offering a comprehensive, modular, and cloud-native platform. It supports native multi-tenancy, allowing MSPs to securely manage multiple clients from one console, complete with fine-grained role-based access control.

The platform's flexibility means MSPs can adopt only the modules they need and expand their capabilities at their own pace.

Mathivanan Venkatachalam, vice president at ManageEngine, highlighted the platform's consolidated approach, saying, "With MSP Central, we're bringing together the best of ManageEngine’s proven IT management and security capabilities in a platform designed from the ground up for MSPs.

While each of these modules stands strong on its own, together they form a truly unified platform, delivering a single, connected experience for service providers."

Key features of MSP Central:

  • Modular Architecture: Enables MSPs to select and pay for only the components required, avoiding mandatory bundling.

  • Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM): Provides multi-tenant device management, patching, asset visibility, and proactive remediation.

  • Professional Services Automation (PSA): Integrates ticketing, contract management, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), time tracking, and billing into a unified workflow.

  • Advanced Server Monitoring: Offers infrastructure monitoring across Windows, Linux, databases, and virtual systems with automated alerts and deep metrics.

  • Endpoint Security: Delivers comprehensive protection against cyberthreats with vulnerability management, device and application control, anti-ransomware, and browser security.

  • AI-powered Automation: Accelerates workflows with features like ticket summarization, sentiment detection, alert correlation, and predictive thresholds.

  • Third-party Integrations: Connects seamlessly with over 20 tools across IT, security, and business ecosystems via open APIs and pre-built connectors.

  • Marketplace Ready: Designed for integration into cloud marketplaces and partner ecosystems.

Looking ahead

ManageEngine says this launch is just the beginning. Future roadmap items include deeper integrations for SIEM, privileged access management, and advanced analytics, allowing MSPs to evolve into full-fledged MSSPs (Managed Security Service Providers). The platform is also being designed to work seamlessly with business applications and cloud marketplaces.

Pricing & availability

MSP Central is available globally starting today, with flexible modular pricing so providers only pay for what they need.
