Meriplex acquires an Alabama-based managed service provider

Meriplex, a supplier of managed technology solutions, has acquired F1 Solutions, a managed service provider based in Alabama. The deal's financial details weren't made public.

Meriplex has acquired F1 Solutions. Meriplex is a managed solutions provider that provides managed services, cloud enablement, and intelligent network solutions for the mid-enterprise market.

Founded in 2001, Meriplex’s headquartered in Houston, Texas. On the LinkedIn social media account, the organisation has 230 employees. The areas of expertise for Meriplex include the internet, MPLS and SIP solutions, cloud computing, BaaS, PaaS and IaaS, and data centers. Others include enterprise communication solutions, computer network support, disaster recovery-as-a-service (DRaaS), SaaS, managed services, SD-WAN, hybrid cloud services, HaaS, cybersecurity, information security, physical security, SASE, help desk services, backup-as-a-service, video surveillance, networking, and professional services.

F1 solutions were founded in 1998, headquartered in Huntsville, Alabama. Approximately 24 employees of the company are listed on LinkedIn. Business IT support, help desk, proactive services, managed IT services, hosted Exchange services, virtualization, HIPAA/HITECH compliance, and Microsoft 365 are specialties of F1. Veteran-owned F1 Solutions serve Northern Alabama's defence contractors and businesses. The company specialises in the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program and government compliance laws.

According to the firms, the purchase will grow personnel, broaden the combined company's ability to offer customers a more comprehensive range of products, and improve Meriplex's geographic reach.

Meriplex CEO David Henley responded, "We are thrilled to welcome F1 Solutions to the Meriplex organisation as they will complement our expanding operational and cybersecurity teams and bring specialised experience in government compliance.

With Meriplex's help, we have the chance to offer our clients more technology options along with the same high-quality service they have come to expect".

Meriplex's Strategy for MSP M&A

According to the corporation, Meriplex's robust expansion strategy centred on acquisitions. According to the company, Meriplex selectively buys companies in local marketplaces to develop a local presence and serve its expanding customer base. Its targeted sectors are the Information Technology Sector and the Communication sector.

Meriplex has acquired 11 companies in the last five years in 8 states in America. This is its seventh purchase outside of Texas. Some of its prior acquisitions include Verma System (a Louisiana-based managed service provider), LightPoint, Cyberian Technologies, HBR Technologie, and CPI Solutions, allowing Meriplex to expand into the automotive industry.
