Following a detailed preview of the architecture’s advanced capabilities, federal officials requested that OpenAI withhold the models from broad public access, opting instead for a highly restricted, phased preview. Simultaneously, the Trump administration has partially lifted an emergency export control directive against Anthropic, greenlighting the selective redeployment of its heavily restricted Claude Mythos 5 model for a vetted consortium of U.S. corporations and defensive agencies.
