In a move set to provide Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with a more robust security solution, leading Managed Detection and Response (MDR) provider Blackpoint has announced a partnership with SentinelOne, a major player in autonomous endpoint security. The collaboration aims to give MSPs an enhanced, more unified cybersecurity offering to combat today's increasingly sophisticated threats.

The alliance is designed to integrate Blackpoint's human-led Security Operations Center (SOC) and proactive threat hunting capabilities with SentinelOne's AI-powered Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technology.
For many MSPs, managing security alerts across numerous clients and platforms can be a significant challenge. This partnership provides a powerful solution by offloading the workload of threat investigation and response to a dedicated team of experts.
A unified and proactive approach
According to the announcement, the partnership will allow MSPs to simplify their security stack while strengthening their clients' defenses.
“By aligning our expertise in threat detection and response with NinjaOne’s leadership in endpoint management, we’re laying the foundation for a smarter, more unified approach to cybersecurity. One that reduces complexity while strengthening resilience,” said Gagan Singh, Chief Executive Officer of Blackpoint Cyber.
The integration with SentinelOne's platform means that Blackpoint's CompassOne platform will automatically ingest security data from SentinelOne-protected endpoints. This allows Blackpoint's analysts to cut through the noise of routine alerts, focus on legitimate threats, and take immediate action.
Key benefits for MSPs and their clients include:
24/7 human-led response: Blackpoint's SOC will continuously monitor SentinelOne alerts. If a threat is detected, the analysts can respond immediately, neutralizing the threat by terminating processes, isolating endpoints, and conducting root cause analysis.
Reduced overhead: The partnership eliminates the need for MSPs to spend significant time and resources managing SentinelOne alerts, allowing them to focus on strategic tasks and business growth.
Enhanced visibility: The integration will provide MSPs with a more holistic view of their clients' security posture, combining endpoint data with Blackpoint's own security insights.
This collaboration is part of a broader trend in the cybersecurity industry where specialized vendors are partnering to create more comprehensive and effective solutions, particularly for the small to medium-sized business (SMB) market that relies heavily on MSPs for IT and security.
By combining the strengths of an EDR tool with a full-service MDR offering, the partnership aims to provide an "enterprise-grade" level of protection that is both accessible and manageable for MSPs and their clients.
“Blackpoint Cyber shares our customer-first mindset, and together we are delivering a modern security experience built on proactivity, adaptability, and reliability,” said Erzan Uygur, VP of Strategy and Operations at NinjaOne.
