N-able adds vulnerability management to its Unified Endpoint Management

N-able has announced the upcoming launch of a new built-in Vulnerability Management feature for its Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms, N-central and N-sight. The update is designed to help IT teams and managed service providers (MSPs) identify, prioritize, remediate, and report on endpoint vulnerabilities across Windows, Mac, and Linux. All from a single interface.

The move comes at a time when the volume of disclosed vulnerabilities is reaching record highs. In 2025, an average of 133 new Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) are being disclosed each day, underscoring the growing pressure on IT providers to detect and mitigate threats before they can be exploited.

"Vulnerability Management plays a crucial role in stopping attacks, but it’s often been disjointed and complex," said Jim Waggoner, VP of Product Management at N-able. "Our partners are thrilled with our new capabilities to identify vulnerabilities and remediate them—all from within the same UEM platform."

The new feature provides complete visibility into OS and application vulnerabilities, including severity scores and CVE metadata, enabling IT teams to quickly assess risk and act accordingly. By integrating vulnerability management directly into the UEM workflow, N-able eliminates the need for third-party tools and enables automated remediation through built-in patch and software management.

Among the benefits highlighted:

  • Unified workflow: Identification, prioritization, and remediation in one place.

  • Cross-platform support: Visibility into Windows, Mac, and Linux endpoints.\

  • Automated response: Streamlined patching and software fixes reduce manual effort and response time.

Insights from the solution preview show that endpoints had, on average, three vulnerable applications. By resolving these issues within the UEM, N-able says organizations can significantly reduce exposure and improve operational stability.

Looking ahead, N-able plans to expand its capabilities to include network and cloud vulnerability management, offering partners broader protection across their IT ecosystems.
