Sophos unveils revamped partner program with new certifications and enhanced support

Global cybersecurity leader Sophos has announced the launch of a comprehensive new Sophos Partner Program, designed to empower its vast network of channel partners with enhanced growth opportunities, cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions, and significantly bolstered support. The revamped program, which integrates the partner ecosystems of both Sophos and Secureworks following the recent acquisition, aims to create a unified, high-performance channel for the rapidly evolving threat landscape.

Chris Bell, Senior Vice President of Global Channel, Alliances, and Corporate Development at Sophos, emphasized the program's focus on partner success. "The new Sophos Partner Program is designed to reflect the way partners want to build and scale their business today," Bell stated.


"It offers a flexible and profitable path to growth, whether partners are expanding their managed services, launching cybersecurity advisory offerings, or scaling existing practices. With this program, we're doubling down on our commitment to deliver the tools, incentives, and support that help our partners lead in a rapidly evolving cybersecurity market."


Unified portfolio and future-focused growth

A key pillar of the new program is the unification of Sophos and Secureworks' world-class portfolios. Partners will now have seamless access to a comprehensive suite of solutions, including:

  • Endpoint, network

  • Email

  • Cloud security

  • XDR/MDR (Extended Detection and Response/Managed Detection and Response)

  • Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR)

  • Next-gen SIEM (Security Information and Event Management)


These will all be centrally managed through the Sophos Central platform. This integration is expected to unlock expanded opportunities for partners to boost profitability and drive revenue.


The program is built for scale and profitability, offering flexible models and incentives to empower partners to grow faster. This includes revenue multipliers, volume discounts, and flexible billing options.


New certifications and advanced enablement

Sophos is significantly enhancing its training and certification offerings through the Sophos Academy. The new program introduces:


  • MDR Guided Onboarding: Designed to help partners quickly and effectively implement Managed Detection and Response services.

  • Sales Quick-Start Certifications: Streamlined paths to equip partners with the knowledge needed to position and sell Sophos solutions effectively.

  • Free Certification Training: A major benefit, providing free access to certification training for the entire partner community, a move expected to significantly empower smaller partners.


These new certifications and training modules are designed to help partners deepen their expertise across Sophos's expanded product portfolio, allowing them to stand out in a competitive market and deliver superior cybersecurity outcomes to their customers.


Enhanced partner and customer Support

Recognizing the critical role of support, Sophos is expanding access to its Partner Care, Renewal, and Customer Success teams. New resources are also being introduced to help partners deepen customer relationships, accelerate solution adoption, and improve retention. This includes:


  • Expanded Partner Care Team: Providing 24/7 support for operational, non-technical questions, quoting, licensing, and partner portal assistance.

  • AI Sales Assistant: An innovative tool offering real-time guidance on portal navigation, resource location, and sales insights.

  • Improved Partner Portal Experience: With enhanced guided quoting, device and license management, opportunity management, and compliance dashboards.

  • Smarter Renewals: Featuring automated alerts and in-product reminders to help partners maintain recurring revenue streams.


The launch of this new program underscores Sophos's "Partner First, Partner Best" commitment, aiming to foster long-term, profitable relationships and ensure mutual success in the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
